One of my goals for the new year is to become healthy. I mean, my family typically makes healthy food during the week, but I want to make sure the products I use for my hair, skin and consumption are organic and promote overall health.. not just weight lost. So far, I have been committed to this goal and have already started to see positive results! 

All this to say that my skin has been incredibly clear and that I have had lots of energy! What are your goals for the new year? 

Change always starts with a decision! Make a positive choice for change this week and stick to it! :)

All Things New

I enjoy posting photos that have nothings to do with specific outfits, so I decided to share some recent shots of my family. I cannot believe its 2013 already! My family went to downtown disney to hang and we goofed off and what not.. you know.. the normal thing to do while being in a Disney store. I was a little hesitant about the mixture of the skirt, the boots, and the sweater, but I decided to be a little edgy today and venture out from my confort zone. Sometimes I put something on and I dont really like it that much, but then after careful consideration I realize it was a great decision. These boots are absolutely gorgeous and they are perfect for the fall/winter season! Since the colors where neutral I decided to add in a coralish lipstick to brighten up the entire look. This weekend I plan on going shopping with a good friend of mine and I cant wait to get my hands on some fall sweaters and scarves! Ive made a wish list and Im hoping to find the things I have been wanting.

Rain Rain go Away

Hello love bugs, there has been rain nonstop these days and I have been waiting for the most opportune time to update the blog. Curly hair and combat boots have become my best friend these last few days and I wanted to show you what I would wear in this crazy weather. Plus, I added my lovely book bag in there to show you more less what my everyday look to class is like. Hope you are having a wonderful week. Heres a little about my week so far.. My week started by attending Sunday service and feeding the homeless. It was such touching and marking experience. I was extremely blessed by the people and by being given the privilege to serve them. 

Heres a verse that has been a fresh reminder daily to my walk with Christ and hope it encourages you to move forward!
