I truly hope you had a lovely thanksgiving break and that you were able to enjoy your family, which for me was the loveliest part! Forgive me in advance for my absence from the blog this week. I have finals beginning today and I am utterly pressed for time! In a week from tomorrow I will start my christmas break!!! Can you believe it? Okay, I can't celebrate yet.. I have lots of studying to do.

I am truly excited to reveal this new layout for Scarlet Lips! I haven't had a change to the blog since I bega. I needed a little change! Hopefully you like it, because I do. :)  My aunt (a graphic designer) and I spent numerous hours on this and I am content with the outcome! She is the best!  It reflects my personality and style, which is the main goal of Scarlet Lips! 

On to the outfit.. you know those steals/deals that you get lucky with while shopping? Well, this skirt was one of those! I purchased it at Ann Taylor for only five bucks!!! Can you believe it? Lately I have been loving this skirt and the boots in this post! They have been on repeat for the past month. Feel free to comment and let me know what you would like to see on the next post! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, lovely people! I have had the most amazing holiday season.. all I can say is that God has truly blessed me in ways that I could not even imagine. I truly hope you enjoyed your christmas and new years! 

My birthday was last thursday and I was able to enjoy fun activities with my family and friends. From salsa dancing to cute lunches at Winter Park, I truly had an amazing time. Merry Christmas Eve Eve! I have been enjoying my family and friends these days. I hope you have been too! All of my presents are rapped and ready to be given! Tomorrow there is a huge celebration at my house and I cannot wait to party and eat yummy food. What have you been up too? 

Love love love this skirt! havent taken it off since I got it in the mail.. just kidding but almost! I paired the skirt with an oxblood jacket and a polka dotted top. Oh, and I have been drinking gingerbread lattes like its my job. My fave!!! 

Just a little reminder: Gifts are lovely, but the greatest gift that has ever been received is Jesus. He is the true reason for my favorite season :)

I am finally free!!! I am completely over joyed that it is christmas holiday! Not only is Christmas fourteen days away, but my birthday is sixteen days away as well. Lately, I have been wearing Diva by Mac cosmetics a lot. Completely in love with the matte finish it leaves and its lovely dark shade of red! Today I managed to take some time out to show you my outfit.. I have been a coach potato since yesterday.  Hopefully you are done with finals or on the verge of being finished. Skating on Ice

Christmas is in the air! Can't you feel it? I have been enjoying every bit of this break going iceskating, eating delicious food and laughing until my belly aches.. especially since my cousin came home for the holidays. To be honest, I have eaten everything I shouldn't have, but boy oh boy its been glorious! Lets talk about the outfit.. This fall/ winter I am in love with oversized knit sweaters. I mean besides the fact that they are extremely comfy they look incredibly cute! Truly fond of my marron leggings..I have been wearing them non stop! Color blocking is so fun so for this outfit, I decided to give it a try.
