Am I the only one that gets in a good mood when the smell of christmas trees is lingering in the air? I might be the odd one, but these trees just stir up the christmas spirit within. Anyway, I hope you are in the Christmas spirt and if you aren't..I hope this post motivates you to be!

Lets talk about my look.. honestly with finals and all I have been a tad bit lazy and that is reflected in my wardrobe. Even though I haven't been completely energized, I do feel that being simple is good! Less is more, right? :)

A Bit Of Green

Boots/ Dolce Vita Skirt/ Zara Shirt/ T.J. Maxx Jacket/ GAP Lips- Captive by Mac

These leaves may not be orange here but they are beautiful! Lately, we've had a bit a of rain in Florida and I feel as if the leaves have never been greener. I took the opportunity to wear my favorite rain coat of all time from GAP. I added some plaid and some booties and taaa daaaaaa!!! Here you have a perfect every day fall look. Besides the outfit, I would like to add that my curly hair has never been this healthy! Ive been using Moroccan oil hair products as well as Shea Moisture products. There has been a great amount of improvement ever since these products were purchased and I am beyond pleased. Later on this week I''ll update you with what products exactly I use and how I use them! 

My weekend has been calm, but nevertheless eventful! I'll be back!!!! (said in a deep Arnold Schwarzengegger voice) lol  I kid I kid..

I am truly excited to reveal this new layout for Scarlet Lips! I haven't had a change to the blog since I bega. I needed a little change! Hopefully you like it, because I do. :)  My aunt (a graphic designer) and I spent numerous hours on this and I am content with the outcome! She is the best!  It reflects my personality and style, which is the main goal of Scarlet Lips! 

On to the outfit.. you know those steals/deals that you get lucky with while shopping? Well, this skirt was one of those! I purchased it at Ann Taylor for only five bucks!!! Can you believe it? Lately I have been loving this skirt and the boots in this post! They have been on repeat for the past month. Feel free to comment and let me know what you would like to see on the next post! Train Tracks

Last Sunday, my family and I explored around winter park. There are always new places to discover and we could not pass up the opportunity of taking pictures on the train tracks. The outfits are pretty simple. Somehow my brother and I always have similar colors on. I promise we don't plan these things! haha I know its summer and we have boots on, but for us its winter all year round. We just love boots..even in humid florida weather ;) Fall is just a blink away! My favorite season for dressing up!

Spontaneousness

Spontaneous decisions to go to the beach are the moments I live for. Have you ever decided to go somewhere far last minute? Well.. It doesn't happen often in my life, but when it does I cant help but be the happiest person alive! My friend, Natalia is much more spontaneous than I and she is always up for random, last minute trips. Do me a little favor this week :).. be a little spontaneous! Forget the stress and enjoy life! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, lovely people! I have had the most amazing holiday season.. all I can say is that God has truly blessed me in ways that I could not even imagine. I truly hope you enjoyed your christmas and new years! 

My birthday was last thursday and I was able to enjoy fun activities with my family and friends. From salsa dancing to cute lunches at Winter Park, I truly had an amazing time.
