Refreshingly Cool

Today,  I went for the comfy look. I took out my leggings and called it a day! The weather today was the epitome of perfection. I could not believe it was cold after weeks of heat. The main reason I did this post was because of the bag. I purchased it on my birthday at Urban Outfitters. They had a huge sale and all the sale items were 50% off which means this 70 dollar bag was lower than what I thought. One of the workers told me it was 20 dollars and I rushed to the line to buy it. When I was told the total..the lady said it was 10 dollars! Sucha steeeel! I was sooo happy! Untill next time..

Santa had a MAC blush palette under the tree waiting for me plus brushes and an eyeshadow for my eyeshadow palette! He knows me sooo well! :)

Lets just say santa really out did himself this year. I've been wanting a black high-low skirt for quite awhile. This is just one of the many beautiful gifts I've received. Yesterday was my birthday which means I've turned 18 Finally! My friend took me to lunch and shopping, then later on in the day I went to the Cheesecake factory for some delicious dinner. My friends all met up there and joined me! God has really blessed me with some outstanding people. I hope you are enjoying your holiday.. New Years is soon! This year has flown by too fast!

Delicately Bold

Today I was in the mood for light colors. Lately, I have gotten into infinity scarfs thanks to my lovely cousin. At first I didn't know if it would look right, but after buying this one I fell in love completely. To be honest, I'm not much of a jeans person and the ones I have on are my all time favorite. They are so comfy! Finally I am finished with my christmas shopping and wrapping. It feels so good :)

My brother has been helping me with these pictures post and today we went to his favorite place: Barnes & Nobles! He took some shots here to change it up a bit!

Polka Dotted Beauty

Oh how I wish the cold would consume florida, but it just seems to stay in the 70's every single day. Although it is not as cold, I decided to go for the layering socks look. Which I then paired with my favorite high waisted shorts I made from a thrift store in California. I added a flowy polka dotted shirt to complete the whole effect. I've been busy making lots of christmas cookies and wrapping tons of gifts.
Hope you're enjoying your break,

Ruby Reverie

Today was the Christmas service at my Church, and I decided to be extremely festive. The rich color of the dress is what caused me to buy it. Christmas is in exactly a week.. Are you ready???

Woodlands

As you can tell, I am involve with my litas and look for any chance I can get to whip them out. They are extremely comfortable! This particular skirt is homemade. My Aunt and I decided to be creative and buy fabrics at Joann Fabrics. The jean shirt is my brothers, he is probably upset that I stole it as I type this but shhhhh! :) Oh, and I am finally on Christmas Break! I am almost done with all my Christmas shopping. The malls have been crazy this week. I cannot wait for Christmas!
Happy Holidays,

Corals & Florals

''

Shirt/ Forever 21 Skirt/ H&M Stockings/ Target Shoes/ Aldo Lipstick/ Revlon- Kiss Me Coral

I am a novice at blogging and have wanted to start Scarlet Lips for months now. Finally, I made time for this new hobby of mine and hopefully you will enjoy reading as much as I enjoy posting my style photos.
For this look I paired a floral high-low skirt with a black studded shirt. To top it all off, I took out my heels and made this outfit a bit more dressy. I am a huge fan of skirts and could not resist the temptation of buying this one. To be honest, I prefer to be in skirts over jeans any day! Anywho, my point being some skirts can not be combined with certain tops and I took the risk of pairing the skirt with a not so plain top.
Hope you enjoy,
