Update!

Lately I have been drinking large amounts of tea and going on Starbucks runs with my dear friend, Natalia. Between work and getting ready for the new semester, Ive managed to begin reading again one of my favorite books..Redeeming Love. I am absolutely in love with anything Francine Rivers pours out on pages. She truly has a gift! Oh! and I have began to buy books for my ipad.. Its something different and new to me, but so far I love it! It amazes me how I can carry everything I need on one little ipad! It truly saves my life! I have also been cuddling with my sparky and enjoying my days off! My spring semester officially stars tomorrow! Hope you have a great start to this new year and new semester! All Things New

I enjoy posting photos that have nothings to do with specific outfits, so I decided to share some recent shots of my family. I cannot believe its 2013 already! My family went to downtown disney to hang and we goofed off and what not.. you know.. the normal thing to do while being in a Disney store. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, lovely people! I have had the most amazing holiday season.. all I can say is that God has truly blessed me in ways that I could not even imagine. I truly hope you enjoyed your christmas and new years! 

My birthday was last thursday and I was able to enjoy fun activities with my family and friends. From salsa dancing to cute lunches at Winter Park, I truly had an amazing time. Merry Christmas Eve Eve! I have been enjoying my family and friends these days. I hope you have been too! All of my presents are rapped and ready to be given! Tomorrow there is a huge celebration at my house and I cannot wait to party and eat yummy food. What have you been up too? 

Love love love this skirt! havent taken it off since I got it in the mail.. just kidding but almost! I paired the skirt with an oxblood jacket and a polka dotted top. Oh, and I have been drinking gingerbread lattes like its my job. My fave!!! 

Just a little reminder: Gifts are lovely, but the greatest gift that has ever been received is Jesus. He is the true reason for my favorite season :)

Happy Birthday, Scarlet Lips!

Can you believe it? It has been exactly 12 months since I created Scarlets Lips! This has truly been a lovely journey which I have been able to travel. It is such a privilege to share my thoughts, ideas and inspirations with you all.. I am most certainly blessed! Thank you for reading and giving me some of your time.. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I do posting these photos for you all. I'm praying for another successful year with the blog! 

The outfit is quite simple. I find great joy in spicing up an outfit with some cute socks. Whether they be scrunched at the bottom or stretched out to my knees.. they just add a wonderful touch! Lately, I have been doing my hair a little different. After awhile I get bored of the same routine, which led me to curling my hair the opposite direction( towards my face instead of away from it). This look is more of a vintage style that I have seen on many stars lately. I love it!

I am finally free!!! I am completely over joyed that it is christmas holiday! Not only is Christmas fourteen days away, but my birthday is sixteen days away as well. Lately, I have been wearing Diva by Mac cosmetics a lot. Completely in love with the matte finish it leaves and its lovely dark shade of red! Today I managed to take some time out to show you my outfit.. I have been a coach potato since yesterday.  Hopefully you are done with finals or on the verge of being finished. I promise you, my lovely people that I have not abandoned you! I have been studying until the wee hours of the night for my finals, and have not been able to take outfit photos. Yesterday my youth group went ice skating, and I was able to take some shots before skating. Iceskating is probably my favorite thing to do during the winter! So fun! Im not that bad at it either ;) I am currently one final away from the Christmas holiday. . . the sound of that just brings me great joy! Hopefully you all are close to being finished as well.
